Over the festive period of 2021 we partnered with North-East based charity, CHUF, to help raise vital funds for young people with heart issues. Our customers made use of a unique discount code to make huge savings on their Christmas gifting, while generating money towards this great cause. Read further to find out more about the cause, and how we raised over £5000 for the North East based charity. 

Based locally in Gateshead, the Children’s Heart Unit Fund support children & their families whom are receiving treatment. Helping those based at the Freeman Hospital, alongside the other treatment centres all across the North East across 5 decades.

The Freeman Hospital is one of only two hospitals in the United Kingdom that provide children’s heart transplants. Therefore, it sees 300 children admitted to the Children’s Heart Unit, with over 100 returning on a yearly basis for outpatient appointments. The work they do not only for the local community but for the wider population of the UK is crucial.

The CHUF2021 discount code gave customers a 15% discount while donating 10% of the cost of your basket directly to CHUF. This means not only were you able to save money on a luxury gift or hamper, but you helped donate funds to a fantastic cause.
