Hey love this wordle-based promotion. Great way to attract attention from people swept up in the craze.
I’d like to do you the service of making you aware of some inefficiencies in your wordle strategy.
First off, can’t get by without acknowledging that OLIVE is a great first guess (shorthand to G1), 3 high use vowels in O I E & 1 high use consonant in L sets a strong foundation to push through further guesses.
Love to see that the O and the I hit, now the fact that they were highlighted yellow means that they MUST be in the word somewhere, however, not in the positions you guessed.
G2 is where your play comes off the rails a tad and can definitely show improvement. Knowing that O and I must be in the word, TASTY is a tad sub-optimal in terms of finding an answer. There are strategies popular in the community around using the G2 to query letters not found in the first, however, this should be considered an advanced play for more seasoned players.
G3 is a bit rough too, we know for a fact that O is not present in position 1 (short hand to P1) & yet you have positioned a word that carries the O in P1 again. Although, to your credit, you did manage to place the I outside of P3 thanks to the G1 yellow.
Apologies if I’ve come across too critical, you show a lot of promise in your vowel play and your instincts are top notch. Would love to offer you a free coaching lesson to work some of these kinks out. I have no doubt you will be hitting higher ranks very soon.
